The Honesty of a Poor Boy and the Greed of a Rich Girl

Once upon a time, in a peaceful village called Dholakpur, there lived a kind-hearted boy named Ruhaan. He was poor, but his heart was rich with honesty. In the same village lived Panshika, a wealthy girl whose greed often overshadowed her blessings.

One day, the God of Honesty decided to test their true character. Disguised as a blind man, he walked into the village and dropped a few shiny coins on the ground. Panshika quickly snatched the coins and ran away without thinking. Ruhaan, however, picked up the coins and gently placed them back into the man’s hands.

The god revealed his true identity. He punished Panshika by taking away her wealth and rewarded Ruhaan with riches beyond his imagination. But Ruhaan’s heart was full of compassion—he shared his wealth with Panshika, helping her rebuild her life. From that day on, the villagers admired and respected Ruhaan for his honesty, kindness, and generosity.

Moral of the Story: Honesty and kindness are worth more than gold.

The Lesson of the Rich Parents Who Lived Simply

One bright morning, a gentleman was driving along the roadside when he noticed a boy named DAV in a big, beautiful car on his way to school. Just behind him, another boy was riding an old bicycle to the same school. The boy on the bicycle kept looking at DAV’s luxury car and wondered why his own life was so simple.

That evening, he asked his parents, “Why are we poor?” His parents smiled but did not answer directly. The truth was—they were not poor at all. They lived simply on purpose because they wanted their son to understand the value of money and the importance of hard work.

Years passed, and when the boy turned 20, his father finally revealed the truth: “Son, we are rich. I just wanted you to grow up knowing the importance of money, gratitude, and humility.”

The young man hugged his parents with tears in his eyes and said, “Thank you for this priceless lesson.”

Moral of the Story: True wealth is not in what you own, but in what you learn and value.
